Senior Machine Learning Engineer (On-Site)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This is a full-time, on-site position for professionals with 7+ years of experience in building, deploying, and scaling machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, MLOps, cloud platforms, and modern AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and data teams to develop innovative AI-powered products and solutions that drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, test, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
• Build scalable data pipelines and machine learning workflows for production environments.
• Develop and maintain MLOps processes for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Optimize model performance, accuracy, scalability, and inference speed.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI solutions into products.
• Implement monitoring systems to track model performance and reliability.
• Conduct research on emerging AI/ML technologies and evaluate their applicability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, code quality, and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering, AI Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and related ML libraries.
• Extensive experience with:
  • TensorFlow
  • PyTorch
  • Scikit-learn
  • XGBoost
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, statistics, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Recommendation Systems.
• Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, SageMaker, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI applications and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Hands-on experience with:
