Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior SQA Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on QA experience in mobile applications or gaming products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing, identifying issues early, and collaborating closely with developers, producers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile games.

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, usability, and compatibility testing across Android and iOS devices.

• Identify, document, track, and verify bugs using bug tracking tools.

• Collaborate closely with developers, game designers, producers, and product teams to ensure high product quality.

• Analyze game features, mechanics, UI/UX, monetization flows, and live operations from a QA perspective.

• Validate SDK integrations including analytics, ads mediation, attribution, in-app purchases, and social integrations.

• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release cycles.

• Ensure game stability, performance, and smooth gameplay experience across multiple devices.

• Support automation testing initiatives and contribute to QA process improvements.

• Mentor junior QA team members and help establish QA best practices.

• Perform post-release validation and production sanity testing.

• Maintain detailed QA documentation and testing reports.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Experience testing mobile games or mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA processes.

• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello.

• Strong understanding of gameplay testing, UI/UX validation, and player experience.

• Experience with API testing and basic database validation is a plus.

• Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks is preferred.

• Good understanding of mobile device fragmentation and compatibility testing.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in LiveOps or free-to-play mobile games.

• Knowledge of Unity game testing workflows.

• Familiarity with performance testing and crash analysis tools.

• Passion for mobile gaming and understanding of gaming trends.
