Overview
We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor to create engaging gameplay trailers, promotional videos, app store assets, and user acquisition creatives for mobile games. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and gameplay capture, with hands-on experience using Unity to produce high-quality marketing content.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in gaming, mobile apps, or digital marketing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing gameplay trailers, promotional videos, ad creatives, or similar content.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong command of Adobe After Effects
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Hands-on experience with Unity, including:
- Timeline
- Recorder
- Cinemachine
- Gameplay Capture & Scene Setup
- Strong understanding of video editing, motion graphics, visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions
- Experience creating gameplay trailers, promotional videos, and user acquisition creatives
- Understanding of mobile gaming trends and performance marketing creatives
- Knowledge of video rendering, exporting, and platform-specific requirements
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create high-converting gameplay trailers, promotional videos, and UA creatives for mobile games.
- Capture cinematic gameplay footage using Unity tools such as Timeline, Recorder, and Cinemachine.
- Design and edit video advertisements for platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and other mobile ad networks.
- Create motion graphics, VFX, text animations, transitions, and other visual elements to enhance creative quality.
- Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing and performance marketing campaigns.
- Produce App Store and Google Play promotional videos optimized for store conversion.
- Transform raw gameplay footage into compelling marketing content that effectively showcases game features and core gameplay loops.
- Analyze top-performing gaming creatives, market trends, and competitor advertisements to improve creative performance.
- Optimize videos for multiple formats, resolutions, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
- Create short-form and long-form content for user acquisition, social media, and brand marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and organize gameplay footage, creative assets, project files, and reusable content libraries.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve production efficiency and creative output.
